What a game of bowls tonight!

We were 17-15 up going into a last end thriller, having clawed our way back from a slow start. The last end was nip and tuck, but we did enough. We dropped one and won by one.

But it was all happening on the other rink. 17-17 and a last end decider.

With two bowls remaining they were holding. Steve Vargas drew an almost perfect wood to get shot back. Fair play to the opposition skip he drew a pearler with just six inches to play with, he drew an almost toucher.

An amazing climax to a tough night of bowls ...
