Swanky

Over a year ago my local supermarket closed for refurbishments which quickly turned into a new build. Hence the time it has taken!

Friday sees the new store's grand opening and anticipation is growing in the local community. Whilst I will be happy to be able to do all my food and household shopping on the doorstep I'm sure the shopping novelty will be over pretty quickly (unless it sells champagne... and cheese...and shoes... and handbags... )

About eighty percent of the food on shelves of supermarkets today didn't exist 100 years ago.
