All Wrapped Up

11.1C and mostly dull. A short bright spell before lunch, then showers later. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I had a walk down to the beach before lunch. It was almost high tide. We had a wander along to the fishermen's huts. All the boats are out of the water. Some are wrapped in tarpaulins like this tractor which is all wrapped up for the winter.

After lunch Maeve and I got in the car and we set off for an afternoon lecture at Dundee University, picking up CannyScot on the way. Maeve sat and waited for us in the car although I'm sure she would have enjoyed the lecture as much as she enjoys wandering round The Howff. The talk was part of the series of events surrounding the 450th anniversary of The Howff coming into existence thanks to Mary Queen of Scots. Presented by Dundee's City Archivist it was both informative, and humorous.
