The weather has been glorious today. We drove down to Morston then caught the Coasthopper bus to Cley and walked back along the coastal path via Blakeney. the winter sunshine was lovely and there were plenty of birds around yet again, and we also spotted a couple of stoats, which were a bit to quick for me. Another treat was a late butterfly. when we got back to Morston, we went to the pub for a spot of lunch, then we did the Seal Trip out to Blakeney Point. Last time I was there in the Spring it was mostly Common Seals, but today there were hundreds of Grey Seals and their newborn pups. there were just a few Common Seals still around, like this one.. The late afternoon sun was brilliant as we arrived back at the quay - this shot was taken from the boat and benefits from being viewed large - and we hung around for sunset, which looked promising, but fizzled out a bit. We called in at the Adnams shop at Holkham on our way back and got a few treats. Supper was a pheasant bought yesterday in Holt. Not a bad old day.
