Wet Cobblestones

The reflective properties of wet cobblestones have long held a fascination for me and they have appeared as a secondary feature in many of my night time cityscapes. I remember being really smitten with an image that I saw in my early days at Edinburgh Photographic Society of a highly coloured grenadier guard reflected in the wet road surface. So I thought I would try and capture an image which featured the textural and reflective qualities of the cobblestones as its primary feature. I'm not sure this one succeeds particularly well so I may well revisit this subject at some time.
