Stirling to Edinburgh
Edinburgh to York


A strange day to be travelling by train. On my way from Stirling to Edinburgh there were huge delays due unfortunately to a person on the line earlier in the day. At Waverley I ran to catch the York train, meeting an uncomfortable looking Andy who was already sitting on the train, with his bike in the guards van and the train tickets in my pocket. Everything went smoothly until half an hour before York when we came to an abrupt stop. Sadly it was another person on the train line.

We met mum at York station and were soon home. Mum has been living with building work ever since she had a flood back in August, the builders finally finished today!
