Snow fun

First snow has hit Helsinki. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, but today our dogs enjoy the wild spirit brought by fresh snow. They all were like puppies playing around. Now they snore around my feet.

Next week will be well above the freezing point so all this white cover will melt away. But today and next night I think the city will have to plow it out of the way.

Each year City of Helsinki holds a competition in which you guess the date for the first snow. The first snow has arrived when they have to bring out all the snow plowing equipment for the roads. I suspect it is today. Guess what the winner gets? A pair of cross country skies! :-D
