Edinburgh with love

All the fun of the fair as the Street Market and Winter wonderland in Princes Street Gardens were opened to the public this evening. We were one of the first ones in, more by chance than planning. I really like it , the smell of wonderful food cooking, the lights, the colours and the smiling faces.
The big wheel was back , some horrible looking twirly thing that went up and down, I got vertigo just by looking at it. Stalls with all sorts of christmas decorations , hats and
this stall that was selling tasty things.

We went to see Wicked in the evening, wonderful. Really fun, great customs and fantastic singers.

We caught the bus back to our hotel in Davidson Mains, just outside of the city. Much easier now on the buses as it's £1.50 for a single journey or £3.50 for a day ticket. You just have to remember to have the right money.

I had tasty salmon and new potatoes for lunch and a very nice Chocolate brownie with butterscotch sauce and coconut icecream.

End of day one.
