The forecast said we had 25% chance of rain today - well, it's been raining off and on since first thing this morning, not to mention the continual thunder and lightening storms rolling across.

I think we're past the worst of it now.

So, my plan to visit a nursery in the hills and buy a few plants, and get them into the soil this afternoon didn't exactly work out.

However! My brother picked up his new kitten today, so Jingles came to the rescue.

She's a gorgeous little kitten - an Abyssinian - and seems to be settling in really well.
