Autumn is almost....

....Over.

This could well be my very last autumn leaves shot. The variety of colour from yellow to dark plum on the floor beneath the Japanese Maple tree today was truly astonishing. After taking this shot it was my job to rake them up.

This is a double exposure with just slight saturation changes in lightroom.
I had a dabble with these leaves last week before most had fallen

This morning I set off on my bike in the rain which I very rarely do but an hour or so I was complaining about being too warm then the blue sky appeared. 15 degrees in November is unusual but I'm not complaining.

Off out tonight in Birmingham for drinks with friends.
