"WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES "

Mr A's birthday yesterday was wet!! So today he was like the queen and nominated today as His day. The sun has shone all day and it has been glorious.

After yesterday in the rain where we spent the whole day visiting Estate Agents and not getting very far, today was a blessing. We had decided to go to Mousehole, where we have been before and it never disappoints. They were taking all the boats out of the harbour so they can be decked with Christmas lights. Mousehole at Christmas is a magical place and all around the harbour the lights were going up in the shape of Christmas Pudding, Star Gazy Pie etc. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, just read the Mousehole Cat. It is a lovely book which sells all over the world and tells the true storey of the fisherman at sea and the storms they battle.

After coming back to Falmouth we managed to visit one of their amazing second hand books shops and found another book for Matthew. Our last evening here but tomorrow we plan to go home via Crantock, the place we know and love. We would love to live here but sadly it is expensive and finding a rental property here would need a miracle!!!

Have missed my Phoebe, Jazz and Sassie and look forward to us all living down here. Sending hugs to you all. xxx
