Bayon Temple

One of the most impressive places I have ever been. We visited just a few temples today of the many, some still hidden under jungle, in the massive world heritage site at Angkor, Cambodia. This is part of Bayon Temple, which has many of these big carved heads. We also visited Ta Prohm, famously used in one of the Tomb Raider films ( think of amazing carved temples with huge jungle trees growing through them) and Angkor Wat itself, joining the throngs to watch the sunrise. Tin Tin visited this one! Looking forward to properly going through my photos when I get home, and they will barely scratch the surface of what we saw today. Highly recommended.
