Pictorial blethers

Dusk falls

Another view of Holy Trinity Church, Dunoon, taken this afternoon as the light began to fade. We'd been making our customarily exuberant Advent wreath ( much greenery from a variety of evergreens, as well as the wonderful pink berries which God caused to come forth in time for Advent, thereby sealing for ever the pink and purple candle choice of the saved)* and came out to dispose of the debris down the bank above the road. The organist meanwhile was trying out variants on the tune of "On Ilkley Moor..." for use with "While Shepherds watched ...", so what with the mellow lights and the drifting music it was all quietly jolly.

*This is a long-running joke in Pisky circles. Do not be alarmed ... normal service will be resumed, I expect ...
