Surf and Sand

Well so much for yesterday's baby birds that I said I was going to take pictures of! We made a decision about midday to come to the beach because the lawns needed mowing.
We stopped at a favourite cafe for lunch only to find my sister at the same cafe. Had a good catch up with her then on to Tairua.
It took no time to mow the lawns because we had two mowers. After a quick cuppa we headed for the beach. No swimming because it was quite cool but had a lovely walk in the early evening sunshine then dinner and great live music at one of the local seaside restaurants. I had a very tastey mushroom risotto.
Off home again tomorrow but not before Peter has an early game of golf and we have a quick catch up with our grandsons.
