Altrincham re-visited...

Top left - I started today with some very grey shots from my bedroom window. This is just to show you why Manchester became grey capital of the world and famous for spinning cotton in the old days! It can be a damp, grey place Manchester. On my way to work I took these shots - top right is a massive Tesco store on what used to be the old post office sorting office (and also a free car park - no chance these days!). Bottom right is actually the old road into Altrincham (now pedestrianised) and bottom left is the sign on the new railway bridge (which replaced the old road/bridge). It's called Gareth's Bridge and I haven't a clue why but I'll let you all know when I find out...
