Slash......ah,ahhhhhhh!

Fantastic gig tonight with Mr A at the arena in Manchester.......Slash (of Guns & Roses fame) featuring Myles Kennedy (of Alterbridge).

I adore Myles's voice and coupled with the guitar riffs & skills of Slash, they make a brilliant combination.
I liked that Slash wore the hat :-)

They played a good mixture of songs from Slash's old and current album, with a few GNR songs for good measure. I got goosebumps when they played Sweet Child O' Mine.

Slash was a little self indulgent during Rocket Queen, with a guitar solo that went on for a good 10 minutes; I thought maybe Myles had gone for a read of the paper and a poo!

That's our last gig for this year and we've nothing lined up for next year.....yet!
