KleuterSinfonietta - children in the spotlight!

Today we went to Groningen to watch the Amsterdam Sinfonietta perform "Hairs and Strings", which is a special performance for young children. It was an interactive performance where children (and their parents) could learn about how string instruments like cello, viola and violin are made and how they work. Some great music was played and the show also involved parts about rhythm and dance in which the children could participate. Nienke and Inge had a great time and especially Inge was totally enchanted by the music and the story as it unfolded.

Today's blip is a shot of Inge, taken just before the show started. In the lounge there were several spotlights and I thought this gave a cool effect. We totally forgot to bring a camera but luckily I had my iPhone with me... No processing on this one; straight out of the phone onto blip...
