Heron on the Water of Leith

This morning we walked along the Water of Leith with our visitors. Along the way we saw three herons. This is the third, perched up a tree. My sister-in-law took the shot with her super-duper zoom-to-the moon camera. Afterwards we had lunch at Bon Papillon, and then the brave ventured up to town.

The rest of the day was spent in preparation for a night of singing and dancing at our curryoake party - clearing the sitting room, setting up the equipment, and preparing the feast of three curries (chicken, prawn and vegetable) and ice cream.

Exercise today: around 10k of walking
