Canterbury Cathedral at Night

Taken from a bit inside the main gate. We took the train from London at midday, and poked a bit around before dinner; this was afterwards. We're staying at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, a modern but discreetly designed hotel inside the grounds--it's highly rated and has not disappointed. We went to Evensong at the cathedral at 5:30--wonderful singing by the choir, with youngsters and adults.

Over the past couple of years we've visited a series of UK cathedrals--I've just tagged them. Salisbury was the last one.
