Wallcreeper in Flight

Today we again saw at least two wallcreepers, and this shot is much better than the one I originally posted yesterday (I have replaced it with a great closeup of a perched griffon vulture--don't miss it!).  I captured this image in the village of Riglos, in the province of Aragon. Wallcreepers spend their life hunting for insects on high rock faces, usually vertical.  In summer they stay at high altitudes where it's relatively cold, but in fall and winter they descend to lower levels and can be more easily seen, sometimes even on buildings.  We saw fewer birds today than yesterday, but the weather was still wonderfully sunny.
