Frozen

We had a sprinkling of snow overnight then it returned to damp and misty conditions. Fortunately the wind has dropped. An area about 20 mins drive from us was hit by an massive ice storm over the weekend. I was at a friend´s place for a candle party last night and heard horror stories of the damage from a lady from that region. Here is a link in English.
I headed out to get some pictures of the trees but was intrigued by the grass and leaves which were cocooned in ice. I have seen pictures of this but never seen it on my patch. I got so many fascinating and beautiful shots that it was the usual blippers nightmare about what to post. I nearly did a collage but am not very good at fond of them.
