The Tree

You know when you come across something you just know you are going to revisit many times, well this tree is one of those.

The late light shining through the trunks of the silver birches was delightful and was great by itself but then round this corner there was this tree, ancient proud and as close to an Ent as it is possible to be. I will return as this is not quite what I wanted but will do for now, darn it I may even need to use a tripod.

Note to self must visit Hanmer Mere more often.
