The Bikie!!

I was absolutely thrilled when the "Bikie" arrived in town this morning and decided to have a drink from the water bowl. The Black Cockatoos are just the hardest bird to photograph as they always seem to hide in the shadows and are constantly on the lookout for blippers lurking in the bushes!!

The Black Cockatoos always remind me of a Bikie with their black helmets and wearing their sleek leathers.

Fortunately I was able to take a photo of this big fellow from the safety of the lounge room. I've noticed they have been coming around lately for a drink, the dry weather seems to be affecting them quite a lot. Another good reason for making sure those water bowls are constantly full to the brim.
