Maui Starlight

I actually slept most of the night, but woke up really early and looked out to see very clear skies and couldn't resist another walk in the dark! This was taken looking east toward the coming sunrise. It is amazing the amount of stars that are out. I saw another couple out for a starry stroll too!!

I also got photos of the monarch butterflies that are in abundance here! And I went back to the trees in the condo complex that attract the Japanese White-eyes, a beautiful olive green bird with black rimmed eyes. I love to watch them, but it requires great patience and no movement!
