Wandering Betwen the Feeding Troughs

6.4C sunny and bright with a light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up by the church and carried on out the country road to Scryne then turned right and went down towards the shore at Easthaven.

We went through the railway underpass to the beach area so I could check the little paddock where the Easthaven fishing boats are kept, in case something looked derelict enough for next Thursday's challenge shot.

From Easthaven we followed the cycle path back along to Westhaven, stopping to get a few shots of the calves and their mothers wandering between the feeding troughs in the field next to the path.

The very handy flow of water pouring from the field next to the road to the shore has been diverted and now runs directly into the drains, which is a very good thing with frosty weather ahead. Muddy paws were rinsed in a basin of warm water and towel dried.
