And finally ....

I promise, this is the last.  

Walter said he remembered from previous years a house in Brooke that had an OTT Xmas display, so this evening we took a drive down there.  When we got to the house he had remembered, all was in darkness - perhaps their kids are grown up, or the family has moved on?

So we drove around the village, and found this place.  I got out to take some pictures, and we ended up chatting to the owner, who said they had built up their collection over many years.  She said they didn't want too many lit up figures, as these were too tacky.  They had considered stopping, but their kids and grandchildren loved the display, and demanded that they continue to construct it - it takes several days each year to set it up.

You can't tell from this picture, but the reindeer in the back left hand corner are on fluffy white "snow", and the owner tells us that she also extensively decorates inside the house, with lots of snow.
