Wrist progress and pleasant meal

Good news from wrist check-up: things are mending well. The break has 'shifted' a bit, but not enough to cause any concern, and the specialist is confident I'm have full mobility back again.

Bad news: the velcro'd wrist brace has been replaced with a plaster cast (snap, Flick). This is much more awkward than the brace, and already feels sore and uncomfortable. It'll be on for at least two weeks, at which time I go back for another check.

I hope this blip proves to be temporary. I took it in Foley's pub on Merrion Row on my way back in to town from a visit to the bank after the hospital. Carl's coming round tonight and we'll probably go out for a meal. The camera will come along. If I manage to blip anything better, this image will change.

LATER EDIT
We went to Malahide and had a really lovely meal in the Orangerie restaurant, at a perfect table beside a wide-open window with a view of the Marina. I blipped this replacement image on the way there from where we parked the car. We stopped off for some late-night shopping en route home to stock up my fridge with some more convenience food and get some other domestic necessities.
