The Comic strip presents....

Mr A!

He's been immortalised in a graphic novel (comic book to you & I) released this week and created by Belgian artist Phillipe Glogowski.

The book contains 40 pages of illustrations and was printed as a result of a collaboration between the club and publishers TJ Editions, as Glogowski’s retelling of parts of United’s history – such as the Busby era and more recent times including the club’s record-breaking 20th league title – it has become the first to be produced in its form.

The graphic novel, narrated by a United fan along with his family and friends, is designed to be the first of a three-part series encompassing the most important events in the Reds' history.

Today blip is of the original photo, taken from the 2013 winners parade alongside the comic version.

One of Mr A's colleagues noted that the comic version of him has no mouth; they said that would be quite a change!
