Today "Plan A" went pear-shaped - tried & tried to find a flight from Brussels to Aberdeen to catch the ferry to Kirkwall - nightmare - everything involved zigzag routes with horrific 17/18 hour stopovers in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Amsterdam or Heathrow - b***er that...

Brainwave!! Eurostar to St. Pancras - short walk to Kings Cross - Edinburgh... Yess! And if I go a day earlier I can gate-crash Meles's birthday on the 19th.
