Beekeeping with George

We took the day off on Friday and drove up to Beeston in Nottinghamshire to visit G's aunt.

We walked into the centre of Beeston to have some lunch with his cousin and her husband first, and on the way back we saw this chap, George, the Beekeeper of Beeston.

One of the local shopkeepers had just bought a hat and scarf for him because she thought he'd looked cold, sitting out on his bench by his hive, despite having the hedge as a windbreak.

I'm not sure how he felt about the colour but he looked toasty on what was a biting cold afternoon in the Midlands.
