The Way I See Things

MonoMonday: Home

Lots of different birds make themselves at home in my garden, but the sensible ones keep an eye out for danger even during lunch.

From left to right: house sparrow on the seed feeder; long-tailed tit and blue tit on the peanuts. And they were right to be cautious - shortly after this they were seen off by a squirrel on the seeds and a great tit on the peanuts; the great tit was then displaced by a greater spotted woodpecker, and finally the squirrel decided that he had to own all the food, and the woodpecker was chased away too.

Many thanks to Skeena for hosting!
