Far too much of the day was taken up sorting out something of a drain crisis. For some time water has been draining away shall we say sluggishly out of the sink. Today it stopped draining at all. I took the trap under the sink apart - no apparent blockage.

I nipped down to town for some chemical assistance. On the way I bought some stamps for my Christmas cards. The queue was enormous and a man joined the queue behind me who sighed and muttered so much I feared for the safety of my toupee.

It took some time to clear the blockage but keen students of all things drainage related will be pleased to know that now all flows brilliantly
