A Life of Laughter

Hopes and Dreams

I found this sign a little too amusing whilst Rory and I were at the youth hostel in Berwick today. We spent the morning tidying up his flat (mainly me doing the tidying and Rory playing about on his iPad) before we headed into Berwick with the intention of walking along the wall. However, it was a bit too windy to be doing that, we'd have ended up frozen in less than 10 minutes, so we headed to the shops instead.

After a little browse, we headed to the Youth Hostel for lunch (my treat), where we spent well over an hour eating pizza and playing chess. After three games of chess (one draw, 2 wins to Rory) and our left over pizza in a doggy bag, we headed back towards the town centre. I bought Rory a small "1st Christmas in your own place" gift of a festive t-light holder and some festive smelling t-lights and we headed home with yet another Christmas present crossed off the list. Only half of my brothers left to get!

Still stuffed from lunch, we had our left over pizza for dinner whilst snuggled on the sofa, watching Breaking Bad and with the fire roaring. Horrible weather outside, so the fire is extra cosy! A night in front of the tv as the weather is so crappy!
