Sir Robert Watson-Watt

This is a recently installed statue of Sir Robert Watson-Watt in his home town of Brechin, Angus. Watson-Watt was a pioneer in the development and invention of Radar, which was first used to great effect in the 2nd World war. He was educated at Damacre Primary School and Brechin High School, both of which were the schools attended by my good self.
The statue stands in St Ninian's Square near the Library.
