Beached

It was raining first thing this morning, so I didn't venture out. The rain cleared, so I went to croquet, played 3 games, 2 up 1 down. The weather was perfect for croquet.

After lunch, my daughter and I headed to the lake, and were lucky enough to see these kayakers taking a break from their kayaking adventure. They started at 'The Outlet', and were paddling back to Wanaka itself. They stopped here for a hot chocolate. It is 12 k's by lake side track, so a bit more in the kayaks. The weather is cloudy and warm.
