D at home with a 24 hour bug so we took the opportunity to put up the Christmas tree. He was very excited about it and took the decorating very seriously - previously decorating the tree was my thing so I've had to let go and allow him a bit of space.... though I couldn't help making a few suggestions about spacing, variety and how many decorations should hang on the same branch (I think one, D thinks the gingerbread man wants to play with a snowflake!)
