First Snow

A cold day with some snow showers .

As we had virtually no snow last year it caused some interest and , of course, it looked good.

This is the view from the MSPs block with snow starting to gather on the "upturned boats" which form the roof shapes at the heart of the Parliamentary complex.

Very beautiful but it was icy underfoot when I ventured out onto the Royal Mile.
