Snowflake

This morning I was asked to open the new offices of Home - Start Majik in Kirn.   It is a great organisation , doing great work  for children and families in various places in my constituency .

In the window of the bright little shop they now occupy they have placed a "snowflake" Christmas tree to raise funds.   The crocheted snowflakes are all different and are the visible symbols of a major Christmas campaign  for vulnerable children.    Have a look at it via the link,  and give if you can.

My extra picture is from our Parliamentary staff night out this evening at  The Braes in Dunoon.    Unfortunately Brendan and his wife Catherine couldn't make it because of a bereavement and Cathleen had to cry off too at the last minute because of illness.   But the rest of us soldiered on and a good time was had by all, I think !
