Driving Snow

I was fighting my way through the city's first proper snow of the winter when daughter phoned to say her car was packed with a term's worth of washing, and she was about to head home for the holidays. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology - specifically, a photo of the snow sent on my new iPhone (did I mention I had a new phone?) - she decided to let the train take the strain instead. Less stress all round, and considerably less washing.

Song (not the excruciating Driving Home for Christmas)
