Christmas Commercial?

Yesterday I blipped a traditional Santa scene at Knightshayes House; while we were there, we saw a maximum of half a dozen families with young children visiting Santa( admittedly at £7 per child including admission to the house and grounds). Each child received a large wrapped present

Today, Clarks Village shopping mall played host to the Coca Cola lorry featured in their Christmas TV advert: people were queuing for over an hour to have their photo taken with the lorry and the queues were still enormous when we nipped across about 5ish for a look. If you wanted to join another queue, you could get a free sample of Coke.

Thousands of people must have visited the Village during the day. It says something about modern attitudes to Christmas.

The blip shows a detail from the side of the lorry - in case you didn't recognise it!
