Instant Potatoes

No fear of going hungry round here, as we can buy potatoes 24/7 from a vending machine!! Not sure if the same applies to the eggs though:-)

Went in to Perth today and ended up buying half of the M&S food store! Too many lovely things to choose from:-) By the time we'd got it all home and in the freezer, the light was going, but we took a drive to Loch Kinordy near Kirriemuir in the hope of seeing some of the birds coming home for the night. Sadly, we were too late and apart from a few swans-a-swimming, the birds had all gone to bed.

Funnily enough after my comment yesterday about the only thing missing from our garden was a partridge in a pear tree, we nearly ran over a dozen of the daft birds as they flew at low level across the road in front of the car! Fortunately for them and us - we missed them:-)

Snow all gone from low levels today, as it heated up to a balmy 7 degrees, but that's set to change again overnight and it's back to below freezing temperatures tomorrow. Better look out the thermals:-)
