A Sunrise For Mom

Editor's Blipper's Note: This blip WAS posted on Sunday morning before I left the house. Dunno what happened to it. I will now try to re-create what was written to the best of my ability.

This was one Sunday I was really glad to have to get up early to go to church. Otherwise I may have missed it.

Today, mom and I are going to the Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) Branch 425 Christmas party at the Desert Diamond Casino. We'll be having the (all you can eat/drink) Champagne Brunch at the Buffet Restaurant. I hope the ($10) exchange gift I receive isn't made in China. Ha!

I know mom isn't bringing a gift to exchange so that means she won't be getting one to open. I don't want her just sitting watching everyone else having fun opening gifts. So I put the gift card I bought to her favorite restaurant in a box, wrapped it and am bringing it with me. I'm going to put it in the pile, labeled just for her, so no one picks it. That way she will have something to open, too.

Maybe the sunrise today was for mom.
