Back in Kathmandu

We get up early for the bus journey to Kathmandu.  The bus is actually full this time as opposed to almost empty on the way here.  Freddie's belly seems to be behaving itself thank goodness.

Its a pretty uneventful journey with just a few hairy overtaking moments but it wouldn't be a bus journey in Nepal without those.  The weather is sunny again today and we arrive back in Kathmandu and make our way to the Blue Mountain Homestay where Milan and Dinnis greet us.  They make us feel instantly welcome as always.

We get a room upgrade for the same price and chill for a few hours before heading out into Thamel for the evening.  It was raining here yesterday too so its not dusty at all as it usually is but the roads are muddy and a bit slippery instead.  Freddie feels better so after dinner we go to the Shisha Bar for a couple of beers.  Its pretty busy in here tonight and we just about get a table and watch the band.  A covers band of course but they're pretty good.

As we go to bed, the rain, thunder and lightening start.  It'll be nice to head to the sunshine in a couple of days.
