Mellow Cello

After yesterday's rant about our unequal society, today's Blip is in an entirely different mood.

Today was the school's "Christmas Cafe" where each class perform for parents and carers.

Lots of excited little faces in tinsel and Santa hats, pyjamas and hats and scarves to entertain us with tunes and songs.

Ukuleles, bongos, songs and cellos.

Just wonderful.

A wee tear in my eye as Niamh performed on cello on stage, leading in a duet at the start of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".

More cellos tomorrow night as the boys take to the stage in their concert...
