The Great Cabbage Tree Coffee Caper

Today was a first. Not much more that 100m from work is a great coffee roaster and cafe, but you have to drive there. A river separates us.

So today two crazy people decided there was a better way, kayaking. Casual clothes donned, life jackets fitted, paddles in hand, they traversed the (small) river, braved the mud and falling out, and successfully delivered 6 coffees. One for a business colleague (who was mightily amused). Very funny ;-)

The rest of the day ... completing a substantial proposal, sent at 4.50 (5pm deadline). Then drinks.

The end of the week - it's been a long but good one.

Camera news. Tweeted Canon Australia today, they are looking into it, to see if they can hurry things along. Still no reply to my email to Canon NZ ...
