Ruby

Meet Ruby our 5 year old Warren Hen.

Besides laying the odd egg or two, she serves a great purpose of being the family waste disposal unit, here she is consuming fried rice from one of the kids take aways found lurking in the microwave this morning. She will spend the rest of the day sauntering around the garden with her two other pals, have a dust bath mid day and siesta under the conifers, will then tuck herself up in the hen house at dusk.

She has quite a comfortable life really this little chicken.
