Study with a pinhole lens

I got a bit bored with domestics today so I made a pinhole lens ;-)

The evening light on the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament gave me my first subject.

It pleases me no end when high tech meets low tech and I'm required to figure out/guess/experiment to get a result. That's one of the reasons I enjoy working with a Lensbaby original lens. Now my pinhole lens is even more low-tech.

An empty Guinness can, fine sand paper, fine needle, strong scissors, glue and a spare camera body cap are the ingredients.

I think I'm going to have fun experimenting with and getting the hang of a pinhole lens.

:-)
