From Eggs to Fish

It was a beautiful day for another NSEA work party -- this time on a stretch of Squalicum Creek, alongside a busy arterial road on the outskirts of town.

During a break from work, these young volunteers were studying the developmental stages of salmon eggs after they are deposited in the gravel of a stream.

As always, it was inspiring to see enthusiastic people of all ages working for the good of salmon and the environment. Wish you could have been there!
