Stag's Horn

My parents' garden has the wonderful array of plants. This stag's horn is huge - the plant is about 75cm in diameter, with trailing "horns" reaching over two metres, putting the ones that you find in British plant nurseries to shame. Plants don't grow in half measures here - the birds nest ferns are massive.

There is a price to pay by taking photos in their garden and that is you become a very tasty meal for mosquitos. They just love me and five minutes in the garden usually results in dozens of bites - it must be the tasty fresh blood!
