Planting Joy Looks Like:

Ready for Spring!

Finally, I am getting it together enough to plan for a full, lusciously floral garden. Granted, it's not really MY garden, but I'll get to enjoy it. Right now we are looking forward to the huge, hot pink rhododendron trees blooming. Our massively white cherry tree (yes, it bears millions of cherries mid-summer!) is blooming and the saucer magnolia is just finishing shedding it's petals. (ALL over the newly mowed lawn- is it weird to rake petals?). In addition to the usual flower annuals, I have acquired unique black tomato seeds this year. I'm excited to grow starts and give them to my friends for birthday and thank you presents. What a unique thing to grow (and eat)!!
